RØDE M3 Condenser Microphone
RØDE are the creators of this condenser microphone with 1/2" diaphragm.
New Microphone
The M3 is a kidney microphone with built-in bass cut that can eliminate hum and noise from low frequencies. The fact that the RØDE M3 is a noise-cancelling microphone means that it only picks up sounds in front of the microphone. This reduces the risk of feed, i.e. your speakers howling, when you use the mic for live use.
The M3 also lets you select volume attenuation if you need a mic for guitar or snare drum. This feature is called attenuation, and the M3 comes with two selectable steps -10 db or -20 db.

RØDE The M3 must be powered by phantom power or a 9-volt battery to operate. This low power supply causes the diaphragm in the microphone to vibrate, helping to pick up more frequencies and resulting in a more detailed sound.
