RØDE NT55 Condenser Microphone
NT55 is a robust satin coloured microphone made of metal. This microphone must be fed with 48 volt phantom power.
Power can be supplied from a mixer, driver or other device that supplies phantom power. The power causes the diaphragm of the RØDE NT55 to vibrate, ensuring that your sound is as detailed as possible.
A myriad of uses
The head of the NT55 is 1/2" and focused, so you can use it whenever you want to get close to your sound source.
A handy feature is that you can choose how sensitive you want your NT55 to be via switches on the microphone.
If you want to make your microphone less focused, you can replace the head in the microphone with the included NT45-0, which is an omni head that is not as focused and thus picks up more sounds.
