RØDE NT5 Condenser Microphone
With the RØDE NT5 you get a compact microphone with 1/2? diaphragm made of rugged satin colored metal.
You feed your NT5 with phantom power through an xlr cable from an external mixer, driver, compressor or other device capable of supplying phantom power 24/48 volts.
Focused sound
This microphone is also referred to as a shotgun or super clean microphone and is especially used where the sound is focused and the distance to the sound source is small.
As the microphone is sensitive to touch, it must be placed in a so-called shock-mount suspension or a microphone boom.
You have the option of replacing the head of the microphone with an omni-head if you want a microphone that is not so focused.
