RØDE Stereo VideoMic is a microphone suitable for camcorder, DSLR camera, boom-pole and other portable sound recorders. Included is the RØDE Deadkitten windscreen, which optimally reduces wind noise. 

Ambient and environmental recorder

RØDE The Stereo VideoMic is ideal for those who want to capture the sound of larger surroundings and environments, such as concerts or live music. The microphone consists of two high-resolution 1/2? condenser sound capsules mounted in X/Y stereo, giving you a natural sound recording. RØDE The Stereo VideoMic has both a pad function, which is also particularly suitable for recording live music or motor sports, and a high pass filter, which eliminates lower noise such as air conditioning or traffic. 
 

Built-in shock mount system

RØDE The Stereo VideoMic has a built-in shock mount system that isolates the microphone capsule from its shoe mount. This provides complete sound isolation from vibration and rumble, among other things.
