NT5 Condenser Microphone Match PairThis pack contains two microphones that are matched and ready to use if you need to make demanding stereo recordings or playbacks.
With the RØDE NT5 you get a compact microphone with 1/2? diaphragm made of rugged satin colored metal.
You feed your NT5 with phantom power through an xlr cable from an external mixer, driver, compressor or other device capable of supplying phantom power 24/48 volts.
The power makes your microphone's diaphragm vibrate and helps you create perfect sound.
A focused microphone
This microphone is also referred to as a shotgun or super-near microphone and is used especially where the sound is focused and the distance to the sound source is small.
As the microphone is sensitive to touch, it must be placed in a so-called shock-mount or microphone boom. You have the option of replacing the head of the microphone with an omni-head if you want a microphone that is not so focused.
