RØDE has born the NT6 with a smart switch that allows you to decide how sensitive the microphone should be.
If you want to use it close to a loud sound source, you can turn the sensitivity down by 10 dB.
Matching mics offer flexibility
The NT6 is split into two units, one a traditional shot-gun mic that can be placed in a stand or boom, and a smaller clone. This clone has the same technical specifications, but is only 4.5 cm long and weighs only 42 grams.
Handy if you want to amplify sound from places where space is limited. The clone is connected to the RØDE NT6 via a durable Kevlar-coated cable.
