This happens without any loss of sound, as the FET input has extremely high impedance. Amp out 2 is also isolated from the ground circuit via a transformer. An important feature is the phase reverse switch for the second output. Signal polarity on guitar\/bass amplifiers is not standardised. In the latter case, the sound becomes unpleasantly thin – which can be fixed by pressing the phase reverse switch on the Palmer saar.
