Korg microKORG S

Korg microKORG S builds on one of the most popular compact synthesizers ever. Here you get the well-known microKORG sound engine combined with an updated speaker system, so you can play without external amplifiers or monitors. The result is a flexible synthesizer that works equally well in the studio, on stage, and as a mobile writing tool.

The sound engine is based on analog modeling synthesis and provides access to classic synth sounds, modern leads, pads, basses, and effects. With two oscillators, noise generator, multimode filter, envelopes, LFOs, and virtual patch connections, there are great opportunities to shape your own sounds or start from the many presets.

The microKORG S has up to four voices of polyphony and offers both split and dual mode, allowing you to combine sounds across the keyboard or play two tones simultaneously. The 256 program slots accommodate both factory sounds and user memories.

The built-in vocoder with eight bands comes with a microphone and makes it easy to create classic robot voices, harmonic vocal effects, and creative sound textures. Additionally, you get built-in effects like modulation, delay, and EQ, as well as an arpeggiator with multiple patterns.

One of the major advantages of the microKORG S is the integrated 2+1 speaker system, which makes the keyboard self-contained and easy to carry. The synthesizer can be powered via power supply or six AA batteries, making it ideal for travel, practice, and quick ideas without a fixed setup.
