This Pioneer DM-50D speaker gives you a balanced sound with a bass you can feel and they can even handle extra power thanks to the new Class D amplifier and 5-inch woofer that sits in each unit of the speaker.

Switch the speakers' primary activity from DJ mode to Prouktions mode and the DSP settings will change on their own, giving you the best sound for exactly what you need.

Class D amplifier

Each of the speaker units is produced with a clean, balanced bass sound which really comes to the fore with their new Class D amplifier with 96 kHz collection DSP.

DECO convect diffusers

Another new and upgraded feature from the DM-40 model is the design of the DECO convex diffusers, which help to deliver crystal clear sound in the high frequencies in all directions. This helps to give you a wide sweet spot and 3D stereo sound wherever you sit in the room.

New air channels

The new channels at the bottom of the speakers give the DM-50D reduced air friction, so the bass is tighter and hits a little harder - even when the speakers are placed against a wall. At the same time, the front of the speaker has been designed with some nice and effective curves that provide minimum resonance to achieve a clean sound regardless of volume.

2-way sound settings

Pioneer have made it possible to avoid having to choose between speakers for either DJing or producing music on. In fact, these DM-50D speakers are made for both. By simply pressing a button, you can switch from either DJ mode to production mode, or vice versa. The button makes the internal DSP settings switch over to the "mode" you need and are optimized for.

Easy to use with other equipment

The speakers come with options for both RCA, mini jack and the new TRS inputs. You can connect your Pioneer DM-50D with both DJ controllers and mixers, or your computer or sound card. The same goes for your headphones, which are also just a simple socket in the front panel and can be controlled with a knob for the sound level.
