Akai Pro MPC XL is the culmination of the MPC legacy – the world’s most iconic sampling and groove machine, now in its most powerful standalone version to date. Designed for computer-free music production, MPC XL is a no-compromise studio and performance hub, built for modern producers, beatmakers and live performers.
With ultra-responsive MPCe pads with 3D sensing, a dedicated step sequencer, 16 touch-sensitive Q-Links with OLED displays, a performance touch strip and a next-gen 8-core processor with 16 GB RAM, MPC XL delivers extreme speed, creative freedom and hands-on control. All of it is powered by the latest MPC3 OS, offering advanced sequencing, clip launching, professional stem separation, high-quality time-stretching and massive I/O flexibility.
MPC XL can load up to 32 plugin instruments and 16 audio tracks simultaneously – with support for up to 256 voices. The result is a true studio-grade workstation that keeps pace with today’s music production and performs just as strongly on stage as in the studio.
