BDX-909 is a next-generation kick drum synthesizer featuring authentic TR-909 analog circuit emulation with revolutionary real-time modulation control. Built from carefully analysed hardware schematics, it delivers the legendary 909 punch through hardware-accurate diode clipping, transistor VCA modelling, and authentic LFSR noise generation clocked at 300kHz.

The innovative dual MIDI system offers both chromatic musical control and instant access to 24 carefully curated preset tunings mapped to C6-B7. Advanced features include real-time modulation wheel clipping control that morphs from classic asymmetric TR-909 character to extreme, unrestrained distortion, phase-aware click enhancement that intelligently boosts transients when the primary oscillator is weak, and velocity-responsive 4-segment dynamics ranging from a whisper to a rampage.

The analog-modelled signal path features RC envelope generators, a transistor VCA with subtle nonlinearity, and multi-stage filtering that includes mid-cut boxiness removal and high-frequency analog warmth.
