BLEASS Sidekick is a versatile plugin combining a kick drum synth, 16-step sequencer, and ducker for dynamic sidechain effects. Its analog-style kick engine, inspired by vintage beatboxes, crafts punchy, boomy kicks that can be mixed with the input signal or routed to a separate bus channel for further processing. The sequencer or MIDI input triggers precise rhythms, while the ducker creates pulsing effects. In Ghost mode, Sidekick excels by muting the kick to emulate sidechain compression, enabling creative mixing with rhythmic dynamics. Fine-tune threshold, attack, release, ratio, and makeup gain for precise control. With an intuitive interface, visual feedback, and low CPU usage, it’s perfect for electronic music producers crafting vibrant, professional tracks in EDM, techno, or hip-hop.
