- A string: nickel; E, B/B and F#/F# strings: tungsten-wound
- Tungsten strings are thinner than nickel strings, are easier to play and produce a different sound, but also have a slightly different feel with the bow.
- They therefore require less pressure to vibrate, yet offer a powerful sound with a wide tonal range.
- This set is designed for basses from 106 cm to approx. 110 cm; for smaller basses (approx. 100 cm to 105 cm)
