Ernie Ball 2080 Paradigm Phosphor Bronze Extra Light is a set of acoustic steel strings for western/acoustic guitar, made for those who want to avoid “dead” strings far too quickly. The Everlast nano coating protects against sweat and corrosion, keeping the sound clear and lively for longer, even with frequent playing and warm hands. The result is fewer string changes and a more stable, reliable sound from day to day.

The core is built from ultra-robust, fatigue-resistant high-carbon steel with a hex core construction, delivering a firm, direct response and notably high breaking strength. The phosphor bronze wound strings provide the classic acoustic blend of definition and crispness with a warm, golden low end. And because the treatment is extremely thin, they feel more like traditional uncoated strings—without the “plastic/slippery” feel many coated strings can have.

The set is Extra Light and is perfect if you want easy playability, easier bends and a more relaxed fretting hand—ideal for fingerpicking, long practice sessions and guitars that thrive with lower string tension. Gauges range from 0.025 cm to 0.127 cm (0.254 mm to 1.270 mm), and you get a complete 6-string set with both plain steel and phosphor bronze winding.
