GateMate is a modern noise-gate solution designed for guitar and bass that gives you powerful noise removal without compromising your playing dynamics or tone. You use a “Pre” module before your amp/preamp to clean raw DI signal, and a matching “Post” module after your main tone shaping to finish cleaning up. With adaptive release, a denoising control, and the ability to match channels, GateMate offers clean, professional noise suppression that reacts naturally and transparently.
Features
- GateMate is a two-plugin system: GateMatePre and GateMatePost. These work together to reduce noise intelligently while preserving tone and dynamics.
- Denoising control in the Pre plugin to clean up the raw DI (direct input) before it hits amps or effects.
- Adaptive release that adjusts how the gate closes depending on the incoming signal, making the gate feel more natural.
- Threshold, attack, release settings (especially in the Post part) to fine-tune the gate behavior.
- Channel tracking / channel selection so Pre and Post are matched, enabling consistent processing.
