This variable-gain input tube with an SRPP output stage has a clear set of controls, including input and output level switches that allow you to balance both the input and output signals. If you want no harmonic saturation, keep the gain at minimum; if you’d like to add tube colour, go for more gain and reduce the output level. The preamp also features a high-pass filter and a phase invert switch.
