- Hannabach snare drum strings were developed in cooperation with Jörg Hannabach – son of Werner Hannabach and percussionist with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra
- Only suitable for snare drums with the “Dresden throw-off” system
- All models are supplied as a set with 5 strings
- Model 2401 Standard: nylon multifilament, wound, length 102 cm, 1.25 mm diameter
- Model 2404 Orchestra Brilliant: 3 strings 2401 Standard and 2 more brilliant “Twaron” multifilament strings, 1.07 mm diameter. Like Kevlar, Twaron belongs to the aramids and offers high stability and fracture strain. Brilliant sound with more treble and volume.
- 2405 Orchestra Carbon: 2 more brilliant “Twaron” strings, 1.07 mm diameter and 3 “CARBON” monofilament strings, wound, coloured blue, total length 100 cm, 1.15 mm diameter. Softer sound, especially at high volume.
