KORG opsix SE is a no-compromise digital synthesizer made for modern keyboard players and sound creators who want maximum control, depth, and performance quality. With an exclusive metal chassis, 61 Natural Touch keys with aftertouch, and a full 80 stereo voices, opsix SE delivers a playing experience at the absolute top level – both on stage and in the studio.

Built on the powerful “Altered FM” sound engine from the original opsix, the SE version expands the possibilities with increased polyphony, revised presets, and optimisation for aftertouch. The result is a synth where classic FM meets a modern workflow and hands-on control.

The iconic Operator Mixer with six faders and six knobs makes FM synthesis intuitive and creative. Each operator can function as a Carrier or Modulator – visualised with LED colours – and provides direct access to shape, modulate, and experiment with the sound in real time.

With six synthesis forms in one instrument, opsix SE can deliver everything from warm analogue pads and crisp leads to aggressive wave-shaping textures and classic ’80s FM signature sounds. Whether you design patches from scratch or tweak presets, the large OLED display and dedicated control buttons ensure a fast and inspiring workflow.

Opsix SE comes with hundreds of presets optimised for aftertouch and is fully compatible with sounds from opsix and opsix Native – including external sound libraries from KORG’s online shop.
