Description
  • Hand-selected DIY rawhide piece
  • LP head rawhide pieces are perfect for upgrading entry-level bongos or bongos for which replacement heads are no longer available. The rawhide pieces are manufacturer-independent and can be fitted to all shells and rims
  • Thickness: approx. 1 mm (bongo, batá)
  • Material: untanned buffalo hide
  • Tip:
  • Use the metal ring from the old head. Prepare the rawhide piece and the head by soaking them in warm water for 3-4 hours. This makes it easier to remove the metal ring and gives the rawhide piece the necessary consistency.
  • The stated sizes are downward compatible and are suitable for shells up to the stated crown diameter.
  • LP Skin Wires are available for common rim sizes
