LD Systems MAUI® 28 G3 SUB - Active 12" subwoofer for MAUI 28 G3
With the MAUI 28 G3 SUB subwoofer, you can extend the cardioid characteristics of our professional column speaker series right down into the bass range.
What does that mean?Simply place the SUB next to your MAUI® 28 G3 facing backwards, activate the Cardioid preset, and you’ll get a quieter, more controlled low end at the rear while keeping the punch up front. Low-end frequencies behind the system are attenuated by -15 dB. For extra bass, place the SUB facing the same direction as your MAUI® 28 G3 and deactivate the Cardioid preset.
Setting up the SUB together with your MAUI® 28 G3 is straightforward and quick. Thanks to the automatic setup detection system, the SUB immediately switches to FOLLOWER mode as long as no column is mounted.
It is also recommended to use a protective cover and a wheel board to make transport easier and keep the SUB as free as possible from touring damage.
The MAUI® 28 G3 SUB W features the same design construction as the MAUI® 28 G3 W subwoofer and will be the perfect addition to get your low end under control.
