Tape & analog delays have been preferred by engineers and producers for decades for their warmer and more natural sound compared to digital delays. Both types tend to roll off the low and high frequencies, which helps them sit better in the mix. This delivers the musical and organic feel that many of us are chasing.

Based on the classic 1980s Deluxe Memory Man, our own Memory Cat Brigade unit is one of the most faithful software recreations of this music industry classic. As we always do, we measured and recreated every single component of the original hardware’s circuitry in accordance with its original schematic. Of course, we went the extra mile, and in addition to accurate modelling of the behaviour of all original parameters, we added a few bonuses. Cat Memory Brigade is capable of achieving up to 1100 mS delay time and features a Filter button for even darker echoes.
