The PD-30 AE, unlike most other players in its class, is based on a pure, genuine CD drive. The specialisation of this Silent Drive in only one task pays off positively both in the operating noise and in the sound of the player. Precise data readout is supported by a vibration-resistant steel plate enclosure with aluminium front, a well-dimensioned power supply and a highly dust-resistant Pecision Clock, which synchronises the drive and D/A transducer with ±10 ppm accuracy, preventing sound-damaging jitter from occurring in the first place. Thanks to optical and coaxial digital inputs, the transducer in the PD-30 AE can also be used by external players thanks to its own adjustable headphone connection even without switching on the connected amplifier. A beautiful comfort synergy is created when the PD-30 AE meets its networked player colleague N-30 AE the streamer then makes the CD player controllable via the Pioneer Remote app, relaying its commands by Remote cable.
