Includes a selection of 40 fully editable electric bass performance loops, in two versions: Amped and DI. The articulations sequencer (with editing and randomisation functions) and chord mapping enable endless sounds and permutations of bass parts.

RIFFENDIUM SERIES is a thematic sample library collection for modern producers and composers. It includes loops of real, modelled, synthesised and designed instruments, resulting in an original palette of inspiring sounds for creators of electronic and organic music. The first release in our brand-new Riffendium Bass Series is a collection of electric bass loops ranging from smoky vintage soul to fast slap bass performances—perfect for Funky/Soul/Disco/Dance music, but also electronic and modern compositions.

2 Instruments

RIFFENDIUM BASS includes 2 instruments: RIFFENDIUM BASS and RIFFENDIUM BASS DI, bundled in a single package. RIFFENDIUM BASS’s sample pool is made from recordings taken from the amplifier’s output and offers ready-to-use bass sounds for a fast workflow. RIFFENDIUM BASS DI provides samples taken from the bass output signal, allowing you to use your favourite amp simulator and bass chain to match your music 100%.

Articulations Sequencer

Generate unique custom loops using RIFFENDIUM BASS’s articulations sequencer. Since the articulations come from a real performance, the result will always sound like a real guitarist playing a new guitar part.

40 Guitar Performances

Start from one of the 40 original recordings, then edit, rearrange the slices, randomise, and save new bass parts. This release includes bass loops that will fit perfectly into your funky music compositions as well as many other music styles, from rock to film scoring.

From Bass to Infinity!

RIFFENDIUM BASS’s engine makes it incredibly easy to create a bass sound that fits your song, but it also allows you to build out-of-this-world sounds you won’t believe come from a guitar performance. No more boring one-key loops. These loops are alive!

Boring loops will hardly fit your chord progressions and will result in robotic repetition of the same thing over and over again. RIFFENDIUM BASS’s loops will follow your chords, as they were recorded in most major and minor shapes (and more than that). RIFFENDIUM BASS’s loops use Round Robins, so with each cycle the loop will sound slightly different, like a real bass performance.

Pedals, Speakers and Effects

RIFFENDIUM BASS offers the direct amp output signal and various cabinet simulations for greater flexibility. You can also bypass RIFFENDIUM BASS speaker simulations and use your favourite cabinet impulse responses. In addition, 4 distortions, 4 modulation effects plus master EQ and Compressor/Transient designer, delay and reverb are available for further sound shaping.

Step Effects

We wouldn’t be Audiofier if we didn’t add a bit of madness to our instruments. A Step Volume and Step Filter, for example, will add movement and excitement to your guitar lines.

Stutter Repeater

A different approach to stuttering with assignable or random repeats for each articulation slice, with echo effect or pitch detuning. Otherworldly fun!

Detailed Articulations

RIFFENDIUM BASS offers loops recorded with multiple techniques: Fingers, Palm Muting, Slap, plus additional sound options such as loops recorded through an Envelope Filter and a Synth Bass Effect Pedal.

Browser

You can filter the original loop performances by category: clean, crunch or distorted tones; straight, syncopated or riff-based parts; including chords, power chords or single notes. Easy!

Convolver

A staple in our instruments, with custom impulses that will enhance and/or mutate the sound and turn it into something completely different. Is this still a guitar?

Snapshots presets

RIFFENDIUM 5 includes many presets to get you started and to demonstrate its potential. From traditional guitar sounds to experimental madness. But it’s up to you to discover what it is capable of.
