Sonic Surge 2 is the second generation of Rave Generation’s flagship dynamics processor. It builds on the original with true 3-band optical compression modeling, stereo-linked operation, and dual-mode processing (Multiband or Fullband). Featuring modern 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley crossovers, per-band drive and tone curves, transient shaping, harmonic drive, mono-maker, and low-frequency relaxation, Sonic Surge 2 combines the warmth of analog optical compressors with modern digital precision.
