Soniformer

Soniformer is a spectral-mastering dynamics processor plugin for professional music production applications. During operation, Soniformer splits the incoming audio signal into 32 spectral bands. This makes Soniformer a powerful and precise tool for mastering and audio restoration.

Each parameter in Soniformer is defined using a graphical envelope, which is freely editable and can contain an unlimited number of control points. In addition to the usual threshold, attack, release and compression/expander ratio parameters, Soniformer also gives you control over “stereo width” and “panning” parameters, making Soniformer an effective tool for adjusting the stereo field.

Not only does Soniformer offer a user-friendly parameter envelope editing interface, it also features a comprehensive set of spectral metering tools: you can switch between input, output, stereo correlation and stereo balance spectra. The spectral gain change meter, which is always present in the user interface, gives you an overview of the overall signal level change applied by the plugin’s processing chain.
