VEEVUM can play up to 50 sounds at the same time (depending on the user’s computer CPU and RAM).
Unique Sound Generation
VEEVUM’s sound sources (100 per instrument) can be selected using the Cells Beehive (Honeycomb), or can be randomised. They can also be filtered according to several categories that are specific to each instrument. The entire patch can also be randomised, including effects, portamento and unison functions.
Playing Modes
Once the sound sources are selected (up to 50 at a time), they can be played in several ways: RANDOM will select a different sound source per played note, STACK will play all sound sources at once (FULL STACK) or will distribute all selected sound sources across the keyboard (SPREAD STACK). FULL STACK can also crossfade each sound source with individual volume LFO’s to create evolving textures (STACK CURVE MODE).
Ornaments
VEEVUM has an Ornamento engine that generates additional notes according to user-defined intervals. Useful for spicing up arpeggiations or enriching static sustain pads. The added notes can be quantised to scale with the Scale Manager, to avoid intervals outside the key.
Arpeggiator and Step Effects
VEEVUM has an arpeggiator which, together with the RANDOM playing mode, will generate sequences of notes that trigger different sounds each time. In addition, VEEVUM has Step Volume and Step Filter effects.
Convolver and Random Effects
VEEVUM includes the ever-present Convolver with unique Impulse Responses that dramatically change the sounds’ characteristics. A special Convolver will be active on specific notes when the Random FX function is enabled.
