Previously known as American DJ

The American DJ brand was founded back in 1985 as a supplier of lighting equipment for mobile entertainment – initially mainly cheap LED light shows – and since then the Californian company has grown into a global business, which now includes the brands American DJ, American Audio, Acclaim Lighting, Elation Professional Lighting. All of it brought together under ADJ Group, which has now become a global one-stop supplier of lighting, audio and stage equipment for nightclubs, discos, bands, concerts, theatres, trade fairs and much, much more. ADJ Group is still run by its founders, who ensure that innovation and their customers are always at the centre. ADJ’s customer base is therefore wide-ranging, from permanent architectural installations such as the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, Disneyland and the world’s largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.
