Haze Fluids
Haze fluid is used to generate the thin haze – often referred to as fog, as a hazer is also called a fog machine – that a hazer produces when you need to reflect the light from your lighting show or laser light, so it actually becomes visible in the air. Haze Fluids are somewhat special, because the fog should ideally consist of as small, uniform droplets of fluid as possible, so the light is reflected as well and as evenly as possible.
Properties of Haze Fluids
Haze Fluids are in the vast majority of cases water-based and mixed with a small amount of glycol, which means that hazers and Haze Fluids are better suited for permanent installations in enclosed rooms and areas. Also note that most machines require you to use the correct haze fluid from the correct brand, otherwise you risk your warranty going up in smoke.
Haze fluid can in rare cases be oil-based, and in a hazer that uses oil-based haze fluid, no water-based haze fluid may be used.
As you can see here on the page, we have many different types of Haze Fluids, so choose the fluid that gives you the right haze thickness.
Fluid for hazers
A hazer, also called a fog machine, uses a special haze fluid to create the characteristic thin haze that is particularly good at reflecting the light from your lighting and laser show.
There is a big difference between fog fluid and fluid for hazer machines, as the fog from the haze fluid consists of lots of small identical droplets to ensure the most even light reflection possible.
All fluid for hazer machines is water-based with a small amount of glycol added. Always remember to use the recommended fluid for your hazer machine, otherwise you risk losing your warranty.
Water-based fluid for haze machines is not toxic or flammable.
