Yamaha HS7
Yamaha HS 7 is an active studio monitor with fantastic sound reproduction.
Ever since the 70s, the iconic white woofer has been a clearly visible hallmark of Yamaha's nearfield reference monitors, and a staple in any major sound studio - and many small ones. Unlike many other studio monitors, which have extra bass and treble and may sound impressive at first "ear glance," the Yamaha HS7 Black is designed to give you the most honest and precise reference, which you can build your mix upon. Yamaha HS7's experienced speaker design team has examined all aspects of what has made previous Yamaha models the most used in the industry. This model: Yamaha HS 7 also includes a 6.5" model, so there are models that fit even more studios.

Review: Yamaha HS7
We review and share our experiences with the Yamaha HS7 Studio Monitor ⬇️
Intro
Yamaha HS7 is a modern classic, and the HS series are some of the most popular studio monitors in recent years. It offers great sound at an affordable price combined with Yamaha's long tradition of high quality.
Features
The HS7 has a 6.5” speaker unit and a 1” tweeter, both driven by the built-in amplifier that delivers 95W. On the back of the speaker, you will find a bass reflex port, inputs, and a simple EQ setting. All in all, a pair of these small speakers can deliver a decent sound pressure and go all the way down to 43Hz. The HS7 are near-field speakers, which means they are designed to work optimally when placed at ear height and set up in a triangle with your head in one corner.
User experience
Studio Monitors are often used in music and radio studios. Despite its low price, the HS7 is a very sensible speaker that can deliver incredibly detailed sound reproduction in a well-sounding room. Even in the lows, you feel a nice punch, which you can't always expect from smaller speakers, and the highs are beautifully nuanced without becoming harsh or sharp. We have mixed both electronic music with great lows and acoustic live recordings on the HS7 with good results, and there is no doubt that you get a set of speakers here that you can grow with as you get to know them.
