Yamaha's TransAcoustic guitars give the experience great acoustic sound without external amplification or effects - just the guitar itself. It's Yamaha's Actuator technology that helps make that big sound. Inside the guitar is technology that causes the back of the guitar to vibrate along with the strings, amplifying the natural reverb of the guitar in the room. It's also worth mentioning that the controls for the guitar's electronics, are very elegantly done without a big, clunky unit - it's just 3 simple buttons directly on the side of the guitar. Similarly, the battery holder is mounted together with the jack socket, so as few extra holes need to be made in the guitar's body as possible - resulting in a more natural sound.
