Audio Interfaces
The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is equipped with two inputs, one for microphones and one for line instruments such as piano and guitar. Each with gain control surrounded by LED lights that light up in green, yellow, and red, as we know from traffic lights. When overdriven, it lights up red but instantly switches to yellow and green when the signal is OK. A really nice detail that makes it easy to set the correct gain for your recording. This is especially useful when using a microphone.

Technically, the renowned microphone preamp has been upgraded, and with the high-performance 24-bit/192kHz AD/DA converter, negligible low latency, and instrument input that can handle a strong input. Built-in AIR mode emulates effects from the legendary ISA mixer and creates a brighter and clearer sound that brings the midrange forward in the sound image.

Microphones
The Scarlett Studio CM25 MkIII is a condenser microphone that only comes with the Scarlett Solo and Scarlett 2i2 packages. It is compact, well-built, and designed as a studio microphone. With a weight of 496 grams and the thick steel grille, it feels very robust.
The CM25 MkIII has a very detailed and rich sound when recording vocals and acoustic guitar. The quality far exceeds what one might expect from a beginner microphone. It can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Headphones
According to Focusrite, the HP60 MkIII headphones are designed as studio reference, meaning they do not color the sound but reproduce it neutrally. Very balanced considering the low price.
The low weight and construction make them very comfortable to wear for many, many hours.
