Description
Palmer DMS (Dynamic Mic Switcher) routes a microphone signal to two outputs, selectable via a footswitch.
Palmer DMS is a passive unit intended only for dynamic microphones. Switching is instantaneous and operated via a footswitch.
DMS offers a wide range of applications:
- Switch your vocal mic between FOH and monitor mixer consoles to communicate with the monitor engineer or the band on stage.
- Two different sound setups: to switch between different effects or sounds on your microphone, e.g. a “telephone effect” or more reverb. Feed the DMS outputs into two channels on the mixer, which you can configure differently. You can now switch freely between them on stage at any time.
- You can also use the DMS to route the signal to two rooms or zones and select one or the other.
