"When I run my guitar into two amplifiers at the same time, I always get a strong hum." This is a fairly common problem, often discussed in the technology sections of relevant trade magazines. The Palmer Y-box is the solution. By converting the guitar’s hi-Z signal, the FET input circuit also drives a transformer, which feeds the ungrounded signal to the output to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. Operation with a 9V battery is recommended.
The PGA03 Y-box can also be used as a line driver for long cable runs. In addition, the PGA03 has a phase reverse switch for the AMP 2 output when using preamps or amplifiers that are out of phase.
