Description
Acoustic Pocket Amp offers extensive sound-shaping options for acoustic guitars and basses and is a versatile preamp that is perfect for live use, recording and practice. It supports both piezo and magnetic pickups, and the 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mid control is specifically voiced for acoustic instruments. Pocket Preamp features an input limiter that prevents transient distortion, while a 5-position rotary notch filter eliminates feedback at resonant frequencies. A mode switch selects between crisp, modern or warm, vintage sound characteristics, and a blend control makes it possible to mix the direct and the processed signal.
Acoustic Pocket Amp includes an insert for external effects, a 3.5 mm stereo line input, a headphone output and a thru jack that can be assigned to a footswitch for connecting a tuner. For DI applications, the balanced XLR output can be switched between pre or post signal processing. Acoustic Pocket Amp requires a 9-volt battery or a power adapter and comes in a rugged die-cast enclosure with a heavy-duty, long-life footswitch, convenient LED status indicators and ground lift.
