Palmer POCKET AMP MK 2 - Portable guitar preamp

In its new version, the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 delivers an expanded range of authentic valve amp tones, from ultra-clean high headroom to maximally overdriven high-gain distortion. With 3-way switches for amp design, gain structure and speaker/mic simulation, the MK 2’s hot-rodded circuitry makes it easy to dial in both vintage and modern sounds as well as your own, while high-performance op-amps provide a superior signal-to-noise ratio. For even greater flexibility, the Pocket Amp MK 2 is equipped with master controls for drive and output level, plus a 2-band EQ that is carefully tailored for guitar use.

With a rugged die-cast aluminium housing featuring a balanced XLR output and unbalanced 6.35 mm output, as well as a 3.5 mm AUX input and headphone jack, the Palmer Pocket Amp MK 2 is more than just an obvious tool for direct recording. It also works as a practice amp, an overdrive and distortion pedal, as a standard guitar DI box in bypass, and it can replace your stage amp when used with a PA and monitoring system. The Pocket Amp MK 2 is powered by a 9V battery or an optional power supply, e.g. the Palmer PW9V.
