The cause of this interference is mostly due to differences in ground potential, resulting in stray DC currents via the audio lines. The solution is to place a transformer between the two devices to isolate the ground connection. Palmer enz has two of these transformers for its two channels. Its inputs and outputs are RCA connectors, which are common for HiFi and consumer equipment. However, the audio quality will also satisfy professionals, as the sound remains unchanged.
