POWAIR is designed to be a smarter, more natural-sounding compressor. It is a dual-stage loudness leveler / compressor / limiter powered by a new, proprietary compression engine, delivering greater transparency and control than ever before.
The first stage is a K-weighted loudness leveler, perfect for levelling a voice-over or automatically adjusting the level of different music tracks. In its second compression stage, POWAIR uses an innovative gain-detection and reduction engine, capable of rapid gain changes with minimal distortion and an adaptive response to the source.
The unique Punch feature enables full control over transient levels during the attack phase, making it possible to shape transient lengths while keeping peak levels under control.
And as an industry-leading feature, POWAIR has Adaptive Compression to maintain an average compression action that adds intensity and cohesion while preserving the natural dynamics of the recording.
