LED Strips
An LED strip consists of a long light strip with small LED bulbs that illuminate as dots along the entire strip. This creates a really cool lighting effect, and the strips can be laid along a floor or wrapped around the things that are set up in the party venue, the bar, the living room or the bedroom to create exactly the right atmosphere! With lengths of up to 5 metres, and the option on some models to connect several LED Strips together, there are plenty of possibilities!
What is LED?
LED stands for “Light-emitting diode”. Since the technology was invented, LED technology has been used in everything from calculators, bicycle lights and televisions. The advantage of using LED instead of regular incandescent bulbs is that the diodes produce a brighter light while using less energy. To put it into perspective, an LED bulb delivers around 100 lumens per watt, whereas a standard incandescent bulb delivers 10 lumens per watt. This makes it possible to have many light sources on at the same time, such as in an LED strip – without your electricity meter going crazy.
RGB LED Strips
The term RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue and is used for LED Strips that allow you to change the colour of the LED bulbs. Some can even mix the three colours and thereby create virtually any colour you could wish for. An LED diode can display 256 shades of each red, green and blue, which means a single diode can create more than 16,000,000 different colours!
LED Strips with WiFi and app control
Wi-Fi: If you want it extra smart, go for LED Strips with Wi-Fi control! Wi-Fi control makes it possible to control your LED Strips via an app on your phone or tablet. This allows for automatic control of the light, so for example it turns on at a specific time every day. Some Wi-Fi-controlled LED Strips can even be set up with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. This makes it possible to integrate them with the rest of your smart home products, or use voice control to operate the lighting.
LED strip with remote control
Some LED Strips include a remote control. The remote makes it easy to quickly turn your LED Strips on and off or change colour. In addition, you can create various lighting effects such as: Flash and strobe, or make the light change colour progressively through the entire RGB spectrum.
Other options you may want for your LED strip: battery-powered, outdoor use, colour change, multiple colours, with app control, easy mounting with tape, voice-controlled via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Check out our range. We actually have LED Strips that can do most things.
Create the perfect atmosphere with flexible lighting solutions
LED Strips are a fantastic solution for creating atmospheric and functional lighting in your home or workplace. These flexible light strips offer a wide range of applications, from accent lighting to main lighting, and can easily be mounted on almost any surface. We focus primarily on the many advantages of LED Strips, how they can be used to enhance your interior, and the different ways you can control them to achieve the lighting experience you want.
Applications
LED Strips are incredibly versatile and can be used in many different situations and for many purposes. At home, for example, they can be used to light up kitchen cabinets, create a cosy atmosphere in the living room, or as a night light in a child’s bedroom or behind a flat-screen TV. In business settings, LED Strips can be used to highlight products in shops, light offices in an energy-efficient way, or create impressive lighting installations in restaurants and hotels. In addition, they are popular in cars and boats, where they can be installed to provide stylish lighting that is both functional and aesthetically appealing.
Benefits – save electricity?
There are many advantages to choosing LED Strips as a light source. First of all, they are very energy-efficient compared to traditional light sources, which means they use less power and therefore save money on your electricity bill. In addition, LED Strips have a long lifespan, often up to 50,000 hours, which means they rarely need to be replaced. LED Strips are also available in many different colours and can even change colour, making them ideal for creating dynamic and atmospheric lighting solutions. Many LED Strips – which can also be referred to as LED strips – can be controlled via an app, which in most cases is provided free of charge by the manufacturer. This gives you full control over the lighting in your home or workplace.
Installation and mounting
One of the biggest advantages of LED Strips is their easy installation and mounting. Most LED Strips come with a self-adhesive backing, making it easy to attach them to almost any surface. However, it is important to prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning it so the adhesive bonds properly. Once the LED Strips are mounted, they can easily be adjusted in length by cutting them to the desired size. For more advanced installations, LED Strips can also be integrated with dimmers and controllers, making it possible to adjust brightness and colour as needed.
Control – remote and voice
Modern LED Strips can be controlled in many different ways, making it easy to tailor the lighting to any situation. Many LED Strips are supplied with remote controls that allow you to turn the light on and off, adjust brightness and switch between different colours. Even more convenient is using a smartphone app to control LED Strips. These apps allow you to create schedules, sync the lighting with music and even use voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. With these technologies, you can create exactly the atmosphere you want with just the press of a button or a simple voice command.
LED Strips are an excellent solution for those who want to upgrade their lighting in a flexible and creative way. Whether you want to add indirect lighting, create a cosy atmosphere or install LED strips as functional lighting on, for example, stairs, LED Strips provide a versatile and energy-efficient solution that is easy to install and control.
