The Pioneer TORAIZ AS-1 is a compact monophonic analog synthesizer, developed in collaboration with Dave Smith Instruments. It builds on the sound character of the renowned Prophet-6 and provides you with classic analog synth sounds in a portable format, perfect for both studio and stage use.

With its analog sound engine, the TORAIZ AS-1 delivers warm bass sounds, striking leads, sequences, effects, and experimental synth textures with plenty of character. It is ideal for electronic music production, live performance, DJ setups, and studio work where you want to add genuine analog sound to your setup.

The TORAIZ AS-1 is equipped with 2 VCOs, 2 VCFs, VCA, 2 envelope generators, and 1 LFO, providing you with powerful options to shape the sound precisely. You can create everything from deep, round basses and sharp leads to more complex, evolving sounds with modulation and filter work.

The synthesizer includes 496 presets, allowing you to quickly find inspiring sounds and start producing or performing. Additionally, you have access to effects based on the Prophet-6, which help to give the sounds extra depth, width, and atmosphere.

With Keyboard Mode, you can play melodies directly from the unit, while Scale Mode makes it easier to keep your ideas musical and in key. This makes the TORAIZ AS-1 both user-friendly for new synth users and flexible enough for more experienced producers and live musicians.
