The Zoom H5 is one of the best digital recorders on the market. A very versatile device that allows you to record four tracks simultaneously, in studio quality anywhere in the world. Zoom is useful for many situations such as portable home studio, reports, and interviews. Or as a stereo microphone for your DSLR camera and much more.

The Zoom H5 is in itself a complete recording studio. You can record and save audio as it is, or connect external microphones via the two XLR microphone inputs. It records in stereo, on four tracks, or use it as a multitrack recorder. The two very high-quality preamps are the same as found on the flagship H6

Recordings with a resolution of up to 24-bit/96kHz can be transferred to your DAW on the computer via USB or directly from the SD card.

The two detachable X/Y microphones on top are standard. The sound is surprisingly good and can be used for everything from simple dictation to advanced demo recordings in the rehearsal room.

It can handle an astonishing sound pressure level up to 140 dB (SPL).

With the built-in limiter and compressor, you can easily control the signal.

For outdoor reports, the two stereo microphones capture the surroundings, while voices are recorded by connecting external microphones in the two combo jacks at the bottom. Spacious recordings in professional quality and a beautiful stereo image.

Here, the built-in lo-cut filter can be a great help. Unwanted low-frequency noise from, for example, heavy trucks or similar, will in most cases completely disappear.
The two combo XLR/line inputs can also be used for wireless receivers, keyboards, and all other audio sources with a line signal. Each input with its own gain control.
