- The free Catalyst 2.0 firmware update for Catalyst amplifiers introduces six additional amp voicings, bringing the total number to 12.
- There are also 24 effects across fire effect categories, with standalone effects from two of these categories now able to be used simultaneously.
- All models are based on the advanced Helix amplifier and effects processor.
- The Catalyst CX 100 is a dual-channel 1x12 combo amplifier that functions like a traditional guitar amplifier but offers the increased versatility of a modern amplifier.
- Positioned in the middle of the Catalyst CX family of guitar amplifiers - which range from 200 to 60 watts - the 100-watt Catalyst CX 100 is powerful enough for most gigs while also offering studio-friendly features like a USB audio interface.
- The robustly constructed Catalyst CX 100 amplifier offers 12 amp voicings ranging from crystal clear to modern high-gain, derived from the Helix amplifier and power processor.
- Each amp voicing is matched with a customized boost type, and there are also 24 HX-quality effects divided into fire effect categories.
- Additional features include a Tap/Tuner knob, an XLR line output, an effects loop, a Power Amp input for using Catalyst CX as an active speaker, MIDI functionality, a 2-channel USB recording interface and effects output settings.
- The free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices provides deep editing capabilities. Add an optional LFS2 footswitch for even more flexibility, and an optional cover to protect your combo.
