Blue DEFENDER® 2D MIDI set, modular system, wheelchair-friendly.
For optimal wheelchair accessibility, the modular cable protection system DEFENDER® 2D MIDI Blue was developed based on our popular DEFENDER® MIDI cable protector. It consists of a blue centre section that is compatible with the MIDI, and two flat blue ramps that can be combined and extended as required – both in length and width. In addition, it is also extremely easy to handle.
DEFENDER® MIDI 5 2D set with blue lid 'Barrier-free access' has become an issue that has raised increasing concern among both public authorities and event organisers in recent years. Conventional cable protector systems often mean having to compromise between accessibility and trafficability. But this is not the case with the new Blue DEFENDER® 2D M: Each centre section can be fitted with two ramps with a 6° incline, which can be driven over completely without any problems. The shallow incline makes it easy for wheelchair users to roll over the protectors without effort. They are also so stable that even forklifts and trucks can drive over them. Easy access and safety to areas where five channels are typically not enough, e.g. near power generators or FOH areas, is therefore also guaranteed. Audio, lighting and power cables can be routed individually, effortlessly and safely. The centre sections are designed symmetrically all around to make assembly easier, so you never again have to look for the right connecting piece. Therefore, there is no need for detailed assembly diagrams. The connections are designed with sufficient space for easy installation.
