Duy Magic Spectrum is a high-resolution matching equalizer, ideal for ADR.

Duy's Magic Spectrum lets you perform basic operations such as matching the spectrum of one piece of audio to another; it’s the perfect tool for ADR. It also allows you to change the frequency content, even with dedicated editing tools.

The most basic (and extremely useful!) function that Magic Spectrum offers is spectrum matching. Let’s take an example of a track whose sound you like: “play it” through Magic Spectrum. Then take your track and analyse your audio. Finally, you can apply the sonic ‘character’ of the song you like to your own song, in exactly the amount you want. It’s that easy!

If you don’t have any songs to use as a reference, you can also load one of the many included presets. These include analyses from some of the best recordings ever made, or from masters with a specific sound. Magic Spectrum can also be used as an EQ, or you can even load 4 different responses and vector-combine these responses in the way you find appropriate. This allows you to add “more character” from one sound or more from another...

“Advanced” mode, thanks to the highly precise graphical editing tools, lets you directly manipulate the spectrum.
