Ernie Ball 2211 Mondo Slinky is an extra-heavy electric guitar string set for those who want more tension in the strings and a firmer, more direct feel under the fingers. This is especially beneficial if you play heavy rhythm, use a lot of gain, or tune down and are tired of lighter sets feeling floppy and losing definition.

The wound strings are made from nickel-plated steel, delivering a familiar electric guitar balance: clear attack and clarity, while still offering a rounder, classic tone that doesn’t get harsh. The roundwound construction provides plenty of “bite” and string separation in chords, and the hex core contributes to a stable, predictable playing feel from set to set. The plain strings are made from tin-plated high-carbon steel for a crisp response and solid intonation.

This set is perfect for players who want a bit more resistance than a typical 10–46, without going all the way up to the heaviest “railway tracks”.
