Everlast 80/20 Bronze Medium (2554) – longer “new string” tone with ultra-thin nano protection

Everlast 80/20 Bronze Medium is an acoustic steel-string set for those who want that fresh, crisp string sound to last noticeably longer. The ultra-thin Everlast nano/polymer treatment helps repel moisture, oil and dirt, so the strings better resist corrosion from sweat and changing humidity – without feeling like a “thick” coating.

The tone is classic 80/20 bronze: clear, bright and articulate on top with plenty of attack and definition, which especially suits strumming and flatpicking when the guitar needs to cut through. The wound strings have the characteristic golden bronze colour, while the plain steel strings look and feel like regular plain strings, and the coating is typically so discreet that the set looks like standard strings at first glance.

The set is medium gauge and offers more resistance, volume and punch than light – perfect if you play with a pick, want a stable response and good control in your attack. Note that medium (.013–.056) can feel stiffer under the fingers, and that the bright 80/20 character can become very pronounced on already bright guitars; if you are sensitive to a coated feel, an uncoated set may feel more “raw”. The gauges range from 0.033 cm to 0.142 cm.
