The construction is designed to deliver consistent tone and stability: The wound strings are nickel-plated steel over a tin-plated high-carbon steel hex core, providing a firm, controlled attack with a smooth, familiar Slinky feel. The plain (unwound) strings are made from tin-plated high-carbon steel for a clear, direct response and accurate intonation. The strings are also packed in corrosion-resistant, airtight packaging, so they stay fresh for longer before they go on the guitar.

The set fits 8-string electric guitars and is ideal if you want balanced tension across the range, with a solid low end that still feels playable.
