When you want that classic acoustic “ring”, a defined attack and a tone that stays sharp for both fingerpicking and strumming, Earthwood 80/20 Bronze is a safe choice. With this Custom Light half-gauge (11.5–54) you get a noticeably lighter, more comfortable treble for bending and long sessions, without losing low-end fullness, volume and stability. And because the pack includes three complete sets, you always have fresh strings ready when it’s time to bring the tone back to the top.
The 80/20 bronze winding (80% copper / 20% zinc) delivers a golden, classic bronze finish and a clear, “crisp”, ringing sound with pleasant overtones. The hex-shaped steel core provides a firm grip between core and winding, so the strings feel stable under your fingers, intonate reliably and deliver a more consistent response from string to string. The uncoated feel means you get the direct, traditional attack and natural feel many players prefer over coated strings.
This set is ideal if you’re looking for the sweet spot between light and medium light: easy playability on the top end, while still keeping a solid low end for rhythm guitar, accompaniment and dynamic live playing.
