Ernie Ball 3123 Super Slinky RPS Coated Titanium 9-42 – Super Slinky feel with up to 5x longer lifespan
You get the familiar Super Slinky playability and crisp, balanced electric guitar tone – just with noticeably greater day-to-day durability. The wound strings are protected by a micro-thin enamel/nano coating that keeps moisture and finger oil away from the metal, so you get a stable, fresh tone for longer and spend less time changing strings.
The quality feel is in the details: the strings have the classic silver/metallic look in nickel-plated steel, and the coating is so thin that you keep the smooth, familiar Slinky experience without a “coated feel”. At the same time, the plain strings are reinforced with Ernie Ball’s patented RPS titanium reinforcement at the ball end, which reduces string breakage and “slip” – and keeps tuning more stable, especially with heavy bends and aggressive picking.
This set is for you if you play a 6-string electric guitar and want easy playability and effortless bends with a Super Slinky gauge in .009–.042 (0,229–1,067 mm). Perfect for everything from practice and studio to the stage, when you want the same familiar response but with extra protection against rust and wear.
