Ernie Ball 2733 Cobalt Bass Hybrid Slinky is a set of roundwound bass strings for a 4-string electric bass, developed for players who want a clearer, more “hi-fi” bass tone with extra punch. The cobalt alloy provides stronger magnetic coupling to your pickup, so you typically get higher output, faster response and a more dynamic feel in the attack – perfect when you want to cut through the band mix without turning the bass up uncontrollably.

The strings are built with a steel core and cobalt winding, which together deliver an extended frequency response with a solid low end and clear, crisp overtones.
