AlphaTheta has just launched the DJM-V5, a brand-new 3-channel DJ mixer that brings advanced sound quality, creative control, and modern workflow into a more compact format. The DJM-V5 is developed as part of the next generation of DJ mixers and clearly draws inspiration from the acclaimed DJM-V10 series.
This new release is aimed at DJs who want professional club sound, flexible performance, and modern features — without the need for a full 6-channel mixer.

The DJM-V5 is built around a 3-channel configuration that fits perfectly into modern DJ setups with media players, turntables, or software.
The internal signal processing operates at 96 kHz / 64-bit DSP with high-quality conversion, ensuring a clear, detailed, and dynamic sound image — both in club environments and at events where stable audio performance is essential.
The DJM-V5 is designed with performance in mind. Each channel is equipped with dedicated filter controls, providing access to low-pass, high-pass, and a new cross-pass filter type. This makes it possible to shape the sound precisely and create variation in your mix.
In addition, the mixer includes multiple send effects that can be used per channel for builds, transitions, and creative blends. The combination of filters and effects makes the DJM-V5 well-suited for DJs who want a more dynamic and expressive mix.
The DJM-V5 is designed to function as the center of both digital and hybrid DJ setups. With Pro DJ Link, the mixer can be synchronized with compatible media players, and the dual USB-C ports make it possible to integrate computers, mobile devices, and external equipment.
The mixer can be used completely standalone without software, but can also be integrated into setups with DJ software, recording, and external effects — depending on your needs.
The DJM-V5 is equipped with SonicLink, AlphaTheta’s proprietary technology for ultra-low latency wireless monitoring. Unlike traditional wireless solutions, SonicLink is developed specifically for DJ use, where timing and precision are critical.
SonicLink is activated directly from the mixer via a dedicated SonicLink button on the top panel, providing quick and intuitive access to the function. The SonicLink transmitter itself is built into the DJM-V5, meaning there is no need for external transmitters or additional hardware.
When SonicLink is used with compatible wireless headphones, the DJ can monitor the mix with extremely low latency while moving freely behind the booth. This makes SonicLink particularly interesting in club and performance situations, where flexibility and freedom of movement play a greater role than ever before.
